Mercato Concorrenza Regole

Mercato Concorrenza Regole was launched in 1999 with the aim of studying and debating the criteria, limits and effectiveness of various forms of public intervention in markets. Serving as a vehicle for reflections on the economic analysis of the law, MCR devotes particular attention to issues of competition policy and regulation - prominent terrain for debate on the role of the State in the economy. The journal aspires to advance the integration of economic and legal perspectives in the analysis of such issues, and to provide a forum in which theoretical contributions as well as reflections on reframing political-institutional arrangements and shaping policy action can all intersect and interact.
Mercato Concorrenza Regole provides rigorous and expert analysis; but it does so in an accessible language thus promoting a widespread culture, in Italy, of competition and of an open market economy. With its probing inquiry and high quality analysis, the journal is a valuable source of reference for the careful study of economic activities.
