L'industria
Rivista di economia e politica industriale

L'Industria is one of the oldest Italian journals of economics. Established in Milan in 1886, about a century later it merged with the "Rivista di economia e politica industriale" (Journal of Economics and Industrial Policy) founded by Romano Prodi. Its main aim is to act as a roundtable for the discussion on the main issues related to economics and industrial policy.
The journal follows three main analytical streams: industries, markets and policy. It is directed not only to academics, but also to entrepreneurs, policy-makers and to all those who have a governmental role. Particular attention is devoted to the Italian and European experiences as well as to the study of cases linked to other developed and emerging countries. Every issue is focused on topics of particular relevance and novelty, presented together with a selection of theoretical essays. Finally, there is a section on reviews of books, papers and conferences. The dialogue with the readers is favoured every year by the "National conferences on economics and industrial policy" , promoted by "L'Industria". All subscribers are invited to take part in the event, which this year will reach its XXXII edition. "L'Industria" is also among the journals selected by the "American Economic Association" (JEL on CD, e-Jel and Econlit).
