Economia politica has published, in over 25 years of history, articles and essays on key issues of the economic debate, trying to build a new and proper relationship between economic theory and analysis while touching the most relevant problems of the ever changing economic reality. In its history, Economia Politica has tried to help the academic community in combining the formalized approach typical of economic theory with the pragmatism of the many articles dealing with applied economics. In its “Introductory notes”, the Journal deals with current issues and economic debate; the “Articles and Essays” section offers contributions from Italian and international economists while the “Review” articles provide an overview of some of the most relevant area of studies in modern economics. Each issue also presents a series of ”Book reviews” on recent Italian and International publications. Economia Politica publishes articles in both Italian and English language and is currently included in Social Sciences Citation Index, Social Scisearch e Journal of Citation reports (Thomson Reuters – ISI Web of Knowledge); Econlit/Journal of Economic Literature Indexes (American Economic Association); Elsevier’s Abstracting & Indexing database – SCOPUS.
